Namens de Vereniging van Eigenaars en Verwey Vastgoed delen wij u mede dat op 30 augustus a.s. de jaarlijkse verplichte controle van de speaker in uw woning wordt uitgevoerd. Deze bevindt zich achter uw voordeur aan het plafond. De inspecties beginnen om 9.00 uur tot 14.00 uur maar wij kunnen niet exact aangeven hoe laat wij bij uw woning arriveren. Het streven wordt om zoveel mogelijk woningen te bezoeken. Mocht u deze dag niet thuis zijn, dan is de service manager bereid om uw woning te openen en bij de (korte) inspectie te blijven. Meld dit wel even aan de service manager aub.
Tevens zal deze dag om 11.00 uur het ontruimingssignaal getest worden. U hoeft niet te evacueren!

On behalf of the Owners `Association and Verwey Real Estate, we inform you that on August the 30th a mandatory inspection of the speaker box in your apartment is planned. The speaker box is located on the ceiling behind your front door. These inspections will start at 9.00 am till 14.00 pm but we can’t exactly tell you what time we will arrive at your place. The aim is to check as many places as possible. If you are not at home that day, it’s no problem for the service manager to open your apartment. If so, please inform the service manager.
We will also test the evacuation signal at 11.00 am this day. You don’t have to evacuate!

Zorg ervoor dat de temperatuur van het douchewater bij het tappunt minimaal 60ºC wordt. Legionella kan namelijk niet leven bij temperaturen boven de 60ºC. U kunt met een thermometer en een emmer meten hoe hoog de temperatuur van uw hete, ongemengde douchewater is.
Als u enkele dagen en zeker als u langere tijd weg bent geweest, is het noodzaak om bij thuiskomst de leidingen door te spoelen met koud óf heet water totdat het water écht koud óf heet is. Voorkom verneveling en ventileer de ruimte goed.
Bij langere afwezigheid is het van belang dat de woning wekelijks wordt gespoeld. U kunt hiervoor het schoonmaakbedrijf van het complex opdracht geven. De servicemanagers kunnen dit voor u in werking zetten.
Elk tappunt dat niet regelmatig wordt gebruikt (denk aan een dubbele wastafel waar dit voor 1 van de kranen geldt) dient wekelijks ca. 5 minuten te worden doorgespoeld.
Heeft u een bubbelbad en heeft u het langere tijd niet gebruikt, vul het bad dan eerst met water van minimaal 60ºC. Zet het bad aan en laat het na tien minuten weer leeglopen. U kunt het bad ook schoonmaken met reinigingsmiddelen voor zwembaden.
Als uw luchtbevochtiger werkt met verneveling, is er een risico. Door er gekookt water in te doen en ze wekelijks schoon te maken en te verversen, kunt u het risico van besmetting voorkomen.

What to do if your apartment is not inhabited for a few days or longer and/or you come back from vacation!
Ensure that the temperature of the shower water at the outlet is at least 60ºC. As it happens, the bacteria cannot live at temperatures above 60ºC. You can use a thermometer and a bucket to measure how high the temperature of your hot, unmixed bathwater is.
If you have been away for some days and certainly if you have been away for longer, it is desirable to flush the pipes with cold or hot water on your return until the water is actually cold or hot.
Avoid atomisation and ventilate the area well. In the event of long absence, it is important that the flat is flushed out weekly. You can instruct the complex cleaning company to do this. The service managers can set this up for you.
Every outlet that is not used regularly (e.g. a double sink where this applies to 1 of the faucets) should be flushed out for approx. 5 minutes weekly.
If you have a hot tub and have not used it for a long time, fill the bath with water of at least 60ºC first. Switch on the bath and allow it to empty out again after ten minutes. You can also clean the tub with cleaning agents for swimming pools.
There is a risk if your humidifier works by atomisation. You can prevent the risk of contamination by putting boiled water in them and cleaning them and renewing the water weekly.
