Beste bewoners,
In de week van maandag 5 tot en met 10 oktober vinden de verplichte jaarlijkse testen plaats van de brandveiligheids-installaties in geheel New Babylon. Dit betekent dat er deze week evacuatie-signalen te horen zijn en er visuele sprinklercontroles in woningen en kelderboxen zullen plaats vinden.
Op maandag 5 en dinsdag 6 oktober vinden er sprinklercontroles plaats in woningen. U helpt ons als u zich als vrijwilliger aanmeldt voor deze controle. Geef aub duidelijk aan of u thuis bent of dat wij toestemming hebben om de huissleutel te gebruiken. De inspectie duurt enkele minuten. Het is altijd fijn om te weten dat er met de sprinklers in uw woning niets aan de hand is. NB; iedere woning kan geselecteerd worden voor inspectie. U bent verplicht mee te werken. Al dan niet op een ander tijdstip.
Tevens vinden er deze dagen controles plaats in kelderboxen omdat daar ook een sprinkler aanwezig is. Wij willen van uw woningsleutel gebruik maken om de kelderbox te openen. Mocht u hier bezwaar tegen hebben dan verzoeken wij u dit zo spoedig mogelijk aan ons te melden. Bij bezwaar dient u zelf de inspecteurs te begeleiden. (dit geldt ook als wij niet in het bezit zijn van uw sleutel)
Op donderdag 8 oktober wordt het evacuatie signaal getest in de parkeergarages.
Op vrijdag 9 oktober wordt het evacuatie signaal in de Citytower getest. Houd er rekening mee dat de liften een aantal keren enkele minuten buiten gebruik zullen zijn.
In alle gevallen geldt dat u niet hoeft te evacueren.
Wij vragen uw begrip voor de mogelijke overlast. Het is in ieders belang dat de brandveiligheid op orde is.
Mocht u vrijwilliger zijn voor de sprinklercontrole dan verzoeken wij u aan te melden op servicemanager@nbcitytower.nl.

Dear Residents,
During the week of 5th to 10th October the annual compulsory tests will take place in the whole of the New Babylon Complex for the fire security installations. This means that you will hear the evacuation announcement, and there will be visual sprinkler checks in apartments, and basement storage rooms.
On Monday 5th, and Tuesday 6th the sprinkler checks in the apartments will take place. You will help us tremendously if you volunteeer your apartment for this inspection. Please mention clearly if you are at home, or we have permission to use your key. The inspection will last a few minutes. It’s an incentive to reassure you that your sprinklers will work properly. Every resident can be selected for inspection, your co-operation is compulsory. If neccessary you can allocate a time.
Also, the inspection of the basement storage rooms will take place, on the same dates above. We would like to use your apartment key to access your basement storage room. If you have serious objections to us accessing your room, then please inform us as soon as possible. In case of objection you will need to open the doors for the inspection. (this also applies if we dont have possession of your key).
On Thursday 8th October the evacuation announcement will be tested in the residents parking.
On Friday 9th October the evacuation announcement will be tested in the whole of the City Tower. Take into account, the elevators will not be working several times for a few minutes. In ALL cases you do NOT have to evacuate!
We request your patience, and understanding for the inconvenience this may cause. It’s in everyones interests that the fire safety is carried out, and in perfect working order.
